Event Description
In today’s educational institutions, AI resources are becoming indispensable tools for teaching and learning a new language. The challenge is using AI efficiently while preserving our distinct voices and integrity. We must consider the best approach to incorporate AI tools to EFL teaching and learning, balancing innovation with educational standards and student needs. During the first session, we’ll research into how AI resources can enrich teaching and learning experiences. By sharing real-life examples and research findings, our goal is to enhance teacher competence and elevate student learning outcomes through the strategic use of AI.
Another significant challenge we face is the lack of comprehensive information about AI’s potential advantages and disadvantages. We need more time to discussions with learners and educational experts to refine our perspectives meeting governmental and institutional standards. In the second session, our focus will shift towards understanding the appropriate use of AI tools for language skill development. We’ll thoroughly examine the pros, cons, and ethical considerations, aiming to identify practical methods for effective utilization of AI by both teachers and students.
Throughout this workshop series, participants will engage in deep discussions with fellow EFL educators and learners, exploring strategies for the effective use of AI. By integrating AI research and practice, our goal is to empower individuals to learn and teach a new language lucratively, taking advantage of the potential of powerful digital resources. By the final session, we’ll refine our individual teaching and learning approaches with AI by adding leadership skills, to ensure adherence to standards while empowering learners to succeed in a new language acquisition.
